How to Use
- Check your 1/10 RC car uses a 540-size motor mount layout and has room for a separate 60A ESC.
- Remove the existing brushed motor and ESC, then clean the chassis area before fitting the new components.
- Install the F540 brushless motor, set an appropriate gear mesh and secure all screws with suitable threadlock where required.
- Mount the ESC in a ventilated position away from moving parts and connect the three motor wires, receiver lead and battery connector.
- Calibrate the ESC to your transmitter throttle range before first use.
- Start with conservative gearing and a 2S LiPo battery for initial testing, then monitor motor and ESC temperatures after short runs.
- After wet use, disconnect the battery, dry the electronics and inspect connectors, bearings and drivetrain parts.
